What our participants have to say about the program:
"Kat offers a jam-packed exercise class that's healthy, fun and safe. The classes are tailored to the fitness levels of the participants.
I built strength and stamina as the weeks went by and began to feel more fit than I have in years. Even my massage therapist noticed the difference in my body.
I encourage everyone to give it a try. You're sure to enjoy Kat's leadership and the outdoor venue."
- Lisa, OutdoorActive participant 2010-2011
At OutdoorActive, Kat leads participants through a series of stretches, games, heart-pumping exercises and strength-building activities. All my muscles get attention. I feel great after. In fact, the class has made a big improvement in my health and fitness."
- Jane, OutdoorActive participant 2011
"My fitness level and core strength have dramatically improved. It is wonderful to be outdoors, rain or shine, to enjoy a workout."
- Carolyn, OutdoorActive participant 2011

Nordic Walking Lessons - Also check out our Nordic Walking Info page
As well as our regular fitness classes with nordic walking component, OutdoorActive offers private, semi-private and group nordic walking lessons on request. Contact us (information below) to book a lesson.
Nordic walking works more muscles and burns more calories than regular walking. It builds core strength while taking pressure off hips, knees and ankles. It's also fun!
Our nordic walking lessons are offered on a sliding scale, based on what you can afford. Regular rates are as follows:
Private: $30 for 1.25 hrs
Semi-private: $40 for 1.25 hrs (2-3 people)
Groups of 5-10 people: $5 per person, you arrange the group.
